About Fiper

Founded in 2001, the Italian Producer of Renewable Energy Federation (FIPER) brings together and represents the majority of Italian energy electrical and heating’s producer by renewable source.
FIPER bring together 21 energy heating’s producer companies, 39 mountain area’s town council of region Piemonte, Val d’Aosta, Trentino Alto Adige, Emilia Romagna.    
60 thermal power station associated with the Federation. 180.000 users of heating, sanitary water and electricity. 250 MW thermal power produced by Fiper’s plant, whom 520 MW installed in final users and 5 MW electrical.  
FIPER is recognised as authoritative category representative actor by Italian Agriculture Commission’s Chamber and Senate and by local, regional sector authority.

How we do

Fiper, spreads the message that a wider use of biomass will bring tangible benefits in the field of agriculture, forestry, environment and employment. To achieve such goal, Fiper use co-generation plant fuels by woody biomasses connected to district heating network, biogas plant and bio-fuel.

FIPER promote and develop the short agro-energetic channels to maximise local agricultural  and forest resources. Fiper’s aim is to encourage local economy by new sustainable territory management.
